Take a bowl and add chopped garlic, OrientAsian red chilli paste, corn flour and salt to mix them all together. Add a little bit of water to prepare the batter. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes and add potatoes into the batter and toss well to ensure that the batter is completely coated with the finger-sized potatoes.

Now, take a wok, put it on medium flame and add cooking oil to heat. Once the oil is adequately hot. Deep fry the potatoes till the slight redness occurs and they become crispy. Check the crispiness of potatoes, if it is not up to the mark, you can consider double frying them.

You can put the fried potatoes on absorbent paper to soak the excess oil. Now, take a wok, and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add 2 chopped garlic cloves before the oil becomes hot enough. Add sesame seeds, tomato sauce, vinegar and potatoes. Cook them for 2 minutes and turn off the flame.

Now, pour the honey, chill flakes and onion shallots, toss well, add some sesame seeds and garnish with chopped spring onion. Serve it quickly because it tastes better while hot.
